Merlin's unique, annual Aircraft Design and Handling Competition IT FLIES
Merlin's unique, annual Aircraft Design and Handling Competition IT FLIES, will be held at The Faculty of Engineering and Computing, Coventry University on Thursday 16 June 2010. The flying judges will be Dave Southwood from The Empire Test Pilots School, and Dave Mackay, Chief Test Pilot for Virgin Galactic. Commentary will be by John Farley, ex Harrier Chief Test Pilot. IT FLIES is open to either individuals or teams of students who are designing an aicraft as a project. First Prize £1,000. Email marion@merlinsim.com for entry forms and further information.
