Manchester students thrilled by their AOPA flying lesson prize.
The winning Manchester team took their flying lessons at Blackpool Airport - on a day when, unfortunately, the weather was far from perfect! Ramy Mesalam said 'I was overwhelmed by the whole experience, and felt saddened by the fact that I would not get the chance to fly a plane again for a very long time. The day's flight will be something which I will never forget'. Stuart Garthwaite quote 'Despite the added challenge of less than great weather conditions, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience of handling the aircraft, and enjoying the stunning views of north west England'. Abdullah Desai said 'Flying the Cessna 172 was a truly fantastic experience, it handled very differently to other aircraft I've flown'.
