'Teams tie for first place in UK IT FLIES'
The highly competitive UK version of IT FLIES took place on 16 June in the Aerospace Laboratory at Coventry University.
The judges, Dave Southwood, and Dave Mackay, could not separate the top two designs, resulting in a tie between the University of Dayton's electric aircraft, and the team from Swansea University's very light jet.
