New order for MP521
Coventry University have placed an order with Merlin for an MP521 simulator, an upgrade to their existing MP520 simulator, and a simulation interface to their Harrier airframe.
One of the major requirements from Coventry is that each simulator be able to operate individually, or that they can operate collectively within the same visual scene - thus giving the University the ability to investigate Air Traffic Conflict Management - amonst other research topics.
